Auth has been a pain point for many developers in the TypeScript ecosystem for a while. Other open-source libraries require a lot of additional code for anything beyond basic authentication. So, the founders set out to build a comprehensive auth library - framework-agnostic, with a robust set of features out of the box, a plugin ecosystem for everything else you might need, and great documentation.
