Founded by Joel Tomas Pimentel & Paula Gutierrez

They met while studying at Imperial in the UK, and after moving to the US to finish their master’s thesis at MIT & Stanford, they realised how lagging the US banking experience was compared to other places.

They couldn't stand the status quo, so they are fixing it.

That’s why they are building Selfin. They want to create a banking experience with full context of your personal situation. Their mission is to create personalised financial products and ultimately build the first large AI-native neobank in the US.

They are starting with an AI-powered assistant that acts for you, using financial agents to automate everything. And they will incorporate further banking products along the way.
