Why they are building Robby

Before building Robby, they spent months embedded in the home services industry. They rode along with dozens of HVAC technicians and shadowed dispatch, CSRs, sales managers, and GMs. They focused on understanding where data breaks down in day-to-day operations, and where real leverage actually exists.

They are currently studying for the EPA 608 certification so they can become certified technicians themselves. They believe the best vertical software starts with deep respect for the work and the people doing it.

Their team brings experience building and scaling products at Ironclad, Porter, Affinity, Uber, and Cloud Health Systems, and advising growth and software acquisitions for PE firms at Bain. They met at Harvard Business School and dropped out to work on Robby full-time.
