GRU Space Launches: The Moon Factory

In just 6 weeks, GRU Space built the world’s first Moon Factory for under $5,000. GRU’s patent-pending prototype autonomously:

• mines lunar soil (regolith)
• refines it using a geopolymer process
• turns it into structural bricks to build lunar infrastructure GRU has also built a patent-pending modular inflatable habitat designed to withstand the temperature and pressure extremes on the Moon.

Combining with the Moon Factory, it forms the basis of the first lunar hotel, Moon base, and ultimately, permanent lunar infrastructure.

Before GRU, lunar habitats can only be built on Earth. At hundreds of thousands of dollars per kilogram, that makes large-scale lunar bases nearly impossible.

Humanity has not built a product on the Moon yet. At GRU, they are changing that.

As early as next year, GRU will land a small-scale version of their factory & inflatable on the Moon.

Humanity cannot become interplanetary until they solve off-world surface habitation. Once solved, it will become the Promethean moment that will enable billions of human lives to be born on the Moon and Mars.
