cocreate recently launched!
Founded by Tamish Pulappadi, Archish Arun & Sid Yu
Tamish and Sid first met during New Student Orientation at Stanford three years ago and quickly became close friends. A year later, Archish transferred to Stanford and was introduced to them through the university’s vibrant music scene. The three clicked instantly — not just as musicians playing campus shows together, but also as classmates grinding through late-night problem sets as CS majors.
All three had been creating music and video content for years before Stanford, and they kept that momentum going on campus — producing projects that have collectively garnered millions of views across platforms. That blend of long-standing creative experience and technical expertise made them deeply familiar with the pain points of media production, ultimately inspiring them to build cocreate to make high-volume post-production faster, simpler, and more collaborative.
Media prep is the slowest part of post-production. Professional video teams juggle multiple tools to back up, sync, proxy, and organize — a process that’s repetitive, error-prone, and can consume 40% of a project’s time and budget. Existing tools fail at solving this core issue.
CoCreate is an AI-native video editing and media organization tool that gets professional video editors from SD card to edit as fast as possible. CoCreate works in parallel during backup: they checksum your files for safety, automatically sync audio with video, create proxies, and organize footage by scene, take, date, camera, and person. The result: weeks of prep work done in minutes, with everything searchable, and exportable in your preferred format.

They are built for high quality video production teams — from massive YouTubers and indie shoots to large-scale post houses — who deal with large volumes of footage and need to move faster without sacrificing quality or safety.
