Launch YC: Bluejay - Quality Assurance for AI Voice Agents

"Simulate reality so your AI agents are ready for it."

TLDR: Bluejay learns about your agent, mimics your customers, and simulates every customer interaction BEFORE you release your product. With Bluejay, simulate 1 month of customer interaction in 5 minutes. If you are building a voice agent, let them run a sanity check for you.

Founded by Faraz Siddiqi & Rohan Vasishth

Rohan is ex-AWS Bedrock, and went to UChicago studying CS + Econ. He built a profitable SaaS company in college.

Faraz is ex-Microsoft Copilot, and did his undergrad/masters in CS at UIUC, where he researched high quality synthetic data generation and context compression for LLMs.

Mission: enable developers to trust their AI voice agents.

Problem: They were sick and tired of manually call-testing their voice agent 50 times before every release. Turns out, so was everyone else building voice agents.

Solution: So, they built a platform that does 100x the testing they could ever do, in minutes. From there: fix the bug laundry list, re-run Bluejay’s test suite, and push to prod.

Think about it: SaaS has robust, feature-rich E2E testing platforms, CI/CD, and regression testing. Why don’t AI voice agents have the same?

For them, building Bluejay wasn’t a “let’s see if this works” idea.

It was a no-brainer.

Key Features:

  • Mimic: Hyper-realistic Customer Simulations: Generate a custom workforce of digital humans to test every conversational turn of your voice agent. Their digital humans speak/have varied languages, accents, background noise, tone, delivery, emotion, and vocal punctuation. They’re better at being customers than your real customers…
  • Skywatch: Production Observability: Another no brainer. Why stop at testing your agents pre-production? They tell you what went wrong with production calls, and how to fix it.
  • Research-backed Evaluation: Bluejay learns about your agent’s goals, and tells you how close it got to achieving them. And of course, the standard stuff: latency, redundancy, hallucination, tool calls, interruptions, sentiment… anything worth knowing, really.

Voice agents need automated, scalable testing. And they won’t stop at voice.
