👩🍳 Why Avocado was built

The Avocado founders worked with restaurants for years and kept seeing the same story over and over: people want to focus on hospitality and food - not software. But they were stuck with outdated POS systems or janky integrations between too many tools.

So the founders built Avocado to be the last system a restaurant needs: tightly integrated hardware and software, a beautiful POS UI, and now, a deeply capable AI agent.

(Also, they were frustrated that nobody else had done it right. So they did.)
